We had the best hike with Aislinn this past June. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and adjusted our hike to meet our needs. She came prepared with water and homemade delicious snacks. We just made the hike so much better!! It was the top highlight of my week in Maine. You could not ask for a better guide.

“As novice hikers, my girlfriend and I reached out to Aislinn about scheduling a guided hike up Cadillac Mountain in time for the sunrise. The experience could not have been better. Throughout the planning process, Aislinn was thorough in communicating with us about what we wanted from the hike and creating an itinerary that would meet our needs. She offered to transport us to and from the trailhead, and she provided extra equipment for us as well. On the hike itself, Aislinn managed to keep us on pace for the sunrise while giving us plenty of time to catch our breaths and enjoy the views up the mountain. She has a wealth of information about the land, its history, and local plants and animals, and she is personable and generous about sharing her knowledge. Needless to say, the entire hike went exactly as planned, and we were left with an experience we will not forget. “We were so excited to finally hike Katahdin and Aislinn was the perfect guide for our first trip up the big mountain. We are Maine locals for years now, but had not made it to Katahdin. Something about it seemed intimidating even for seasoned hikers. Aislinn made the whole process of getting reservations, navigating the Baxter State Park system, and planning the hike a breeze. She provided us with route options and suggestions for which trails would be the best for our specific needs. She was very professional and helpful with preparations and recommendations for bringing the right gear and supplies. The hike itself was a dream. Aislinn set a perfect pace, made suggestions for hand and foot holds on the tougher bouldering sections, and paid close attention to trail safety. She was encouraging on a long and strenuous hike, and provided information about the park and local flora and fauna along the way.
